Ann LePage, the first lady of Maine, is working as a waitress this summer, joining the many, many other state residents who are looking for summer jobs.
LePage, currently waitressing at McSeaGull’s, said people were really surprised––the ones who recognized her, at least––but said this is something she’s always wanted to do.
And she had no problem saying this is all about just making a little extra cash to buy a car this summer.
It turns out that Paul LePage‘s governor’s salary––$70K––makes him the lowest-paid governor in the country.
